Hoodia 90 Day Diary

One of main goals throughout my journey towards serious weight loss is to eliminate soft drinks from my daily diet.  My main goal that I would like to reach is to lose 25 pounds that should put me at my ideal weight, currently I am 176 pounds at 5’ 6”.   I am trying to drink at least 1-2 bottles of water in between each meal or at least a gallon a day.  I think of it as flushing my system out.
Throughout my diet I plan to stay active and participate in some kind of physically challenging activity.

 

Day 1: Breakfast:  1 croissant with canola margarine spread with a glass of orange juice
            Lunch:  Smoothie King- a 32 oz. strawberry hulk
            Dinner:  Cheeseburger with lettuce, pickle, ketchup, and mustard

Day 2:  Breakfast:  Grapefruit and orange juice
             Lunch:  Turkey sandwich
             Dinner:  Went out for Mexican food- 2 beef enchiladas and 3 margaritas

Tip:  I learned that since fluctuating blood sugar levels can cause feelings of hunger.  I try to eliminate coffee because I put a lot of sugar in my coffee.  After awhile when I drink coffee I get weak and hungry….It must be from a sugar crash.  I also learned that fiber is extremely important for keeping blood sugar stable.
Day 4:  Breakfast:  Grapes and grapefruit with orange juice
             Lunch:  Smoothie King- a 32 oz. strawberry hulk
           Dinner:  Grilled pork chops with broccoli and cheese

Drinks definitely had a huge effect on the body I was not very hungry when I woke up either

Tip:  I try to use non-hydrogenated spreads, like canola margarine instead of butter or regular margarine.  Canola margarine has no trans fats.

               Dinner:  Shrimp Po-boy with ketchup, pickle, lettuce

I decreased the dosage of daily hoodia gordonii intake because the diet pill was working too well….I was not very hungry and I was forcing myself to eat…I wanted to have a little bit of an appetite

               Dinner:  Grilled pork chops and rice and cream of mushroom

I find it harder to stay on a schedule on the weekends…During the week I maintain a structured schedule, I try to make it to the gym at least 2-3 times a week and I play in a basketball league once a week. I have lost 14 pounds so far which is the ultimate motivation.

I have learned that when I warm up before my workout I sprint on the workout bicycle and it speeds my heart rate which helps increase my metabolism.
